About

redev Studios is the creative service company of James Corley, a polystylistic composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and creative technologist based in Cheshire. An expert in many areas of music and music technology, he can create and utilise advanced compositional techniques in both electronic and instrumental forms. He is a sound designer with an obsessive attention to detail and intricacy and a composer who can work in any stylistic medium.

Frontman and bandleader of art-rock project ‘redev’ (the namesake of his studio and former pseudonym), James focusses on deep integration of disparate genre combinations and working with innovative instrumental technology.

“I want to create. My whole ambition in life is to keep creating. Whether it be sound design and foley work, orchestral or electronic composition, music production (studio or live), performance, or even in tandem the visual arts with installation work and exhibitions.”

“Creating sounds that people can love and remember for years to come is my ultimate goal, and for everything I write I make sure that it is, at the very least, memorable.”
